I lived in Ben Aknoun from 2019 to 2021. The people are fantastic, friendly, such a great culture, except the police and gendarmerie. My bodyguard was also my best friend there, only problem was language as i dont speak french, so i had to speak german to him and he would translate. We use to go to Hotel Djezair a lot to drink some beer. He tought me a lot about your culture and religion. The history, the Kasbah, I miss the sardines every day, i miss Algiers a lot
