I just prefer when things move naturally ya know?

Whenever I meet someone, they are kinda only friendly as long as they thing I'll be ready to date them within days of knowing them. I've had a few guys and girls literally drop me because I wasn't ready to date them after like, a day of knowing them 🥴

How am I supposed to date someone if I don't know our vibes?

Anyway that's why I'm here, looking for someone to be a bestie, want to hang out lots 😌 I'm an extrovert, I play videos games, d&d, draw and like to go out dancing when I can ❤ I also talk a lot if you couldn't guess LMAO

It's always been my experience as well that the best relationships evolve organically from friendship but I think the way most dating apps are set up now, you're actively discouraged from taking it slow. And because a lot of people date from apps instead of making connections in other ways, it's starting to alter everyone's perception of dating in general.

No harm done though - your position is valid and I guess so is theirs. Their loss! Not sure where they're going in such a hurry through life but I hope they arrive safely.

I feel like people have forgotten what The term " dating" means... Or maybe it's evolved, or maybe I'm just weird.

I've always hated the idea of " Friends first" because honestly " Friend zone" Is real and I can't not equate the two.

That said when you're dating someone that doesn't mean you're necessarily exclusive or anything like that. Doesn't necessarily have to mean anything more than hanging out and having fun. It does however mean that you're you're still trying to figure out whether you could possibly have a romantic relationship that could lead to something of "permanence”.

I'll be honest, I think I would leave someone that told me they only wanted to be friends right now... I can't be friends with somebody I'm in love with. I've tried, it doesn't work. Then you might say well it's too early. Yeah even when my rational brain knows that, it doesn't stop my emotional brain from telling me otherwise. I will happily tell you that I don't believe it but it doesn't really help. Oddly enough, no I don't actually just fall in love with everyone I date. Quite a few of them because most people are either very interesting very quickly or very uninteresting very quickly.

Anyways, I'm rambling. Long story short the point of dating is to figure out whether you want it to be more. As far as I'm concerned if you don't want to date then you're not interested in proceeding with me romantically at any point in the future.
