Cohabiting

Beyond relationships / marriage counseling, I'll strongly advise that, you cohabit with your intended spouse for at least 6 months if possible. Yes I agree that humans can pretend to get what they want, but if both of you cohabit with all sincerity of purpose, you can then make up your minds on whether to eventually get married or not. Cohabiting gives you a "feel" of what your marriage will look like. Both of you should fight & insult each other very well and still find a way to reconcile. You'll need it a lot to survive your journey together. You can't truly know a man or woman until you start to live with them.  All that let me go and spend the weekend with my fiance is child's play & doesn't really reveal anything. She comes clean and stays clean for 2 days & you think you've got a wife material or husband material? Many people do things your same religious or family values prohibits. Learn to live with each other so that when you get married, not much will surprise you. You have already made up your mind that he/she will be your spouse anyways. But you won't want to start your marriage studying your spouse in a suspicious way. Commit to your future spouse and be intentional about all you do. Speak with each other like you're already married. Simulate how you wish to live with each other. If your man is the type that keeps late nights & you don't like it, tell him clearly before you marry him. So that even if you complain during marriage, he will not say "you've changed". Start knowing the friends you'll keep close & the ones you'll keep afar. If possible, both of you should have mutual friends (man or woman). Don't hide money. Keep it where both of you can see it. Be open about your earnings if you feel you can trust yourselves enough that no one will take undue advantage of it. Agree on the number of children you want to have & name them even before they're born. These are what I call bonding & building. Ease….❣️💫
