Welshy looking for a chat

Hiya. So worked out I was an aspy around 25, didn't really twig I was ADHD until late 30's. Learnt a lot over the past few years about myself but feeling a little isolated without anyone who really understands around me. Anyone else out there in that situation?

How do y’all cope with paralysis? Boiling inside, unable to get out of bed… what are the ways you quiet your mind? Or get out of inertia?

Today I have an appointment for diagnosis. I wish if we had good psychologists. I spoke to 4 of them and they just want to judge without trying to listen and understand my thoughts and feelings. 😔💔

I forgot this app existed for months

Anyway, in those months I did get my official adult diagnosis for ADHD and autism. It has changed nothing in my life, but it's affirming at least I guess. Here's a picture of my cat with his chin on the table

Question

Is this just a me issue? I have always been harrassed over the fact that I "mumble". My issue is when I try to speak at what I THINK is an appropriate level it sounds like I am yelling in my head. Yet I have never been accused of speaking too loudly. 😓
