On This Day in History - April 10, 1940

April 10, 1940 #OTD World War II: Fleet Air Arm Skua dive bombers sank the German cruiser Königsberg (Pictured) in Bergen harbour in Norway. She was the first major warship to be sunk by dive bombing in the war, only 18 men were killed in the attack, 23 were wounded, 12 severe.
