We’ve all been there at some point. We reject or are rejected based on something that is really just kind of silly when you think about it. 

I’m not talking about political differences because those, right now, are waaay too focused on which people are entitled to basic human rights. 

Even religious differences are logical - if one person thinks religion is stupid and the other is heavily invested in their religious community, it does set both up to be angry at the other frequently. 

But then there are things that really don’t matter as far as the direction of someone’s life - like specific food habits, entertainment preferences, consumer brands, method of doing household chores, etc. The minutia of life. The method each of us uses to handle self care and basic responsibilities. 

What are the little things people do sometimes that just makes it goddamn impossible to love them?

Weird reasons to reject someone

I hate having to repeat myself to someone and then feel like I'm sounding harsh. If someone just wants to be friends, that's how it is. If they don't find you attractive, don't force them to be attracted to you.

If it's not mutual and someone says so, listen the first time. Just because you find someone attractive, doesn't mean they should see you how you see them.
